About this speaker
Sophie is the Head of Policy and Research at Homeless Link. After completing a Social Anthropology degree at LSE, and following a brief stint in International Development, she has been working in the homelessness sector for nearly a decade. She has worked for Changing Lives and Crisis before joining to Homeless Link.
She has a MSc in Research for Public Policy and Practice and completed her thesis on research as a tool for enabling people with lived experience a channel to influence decision makers and service providers. Sophie’s published work includes research on the experiences of non-UK nationals experiencing homelessness, multiple and complex needs, youth homelessness, the implementation of the HRA, and domestic abuse.
