Rachel Brennan is the Participation and Progression Director at Groundswell a homelessness and health charity that actively promotes and supports involvement of people with lived experience in developing and delivering solutions to homelessness. She has over 9 years experience working in homelessness, including managing the homeless health primary care service in Manchester. Amongst other projects she leads the national network of #HealthNow partners to tackle health inequalities through local system change and national action in collaboration with people with lived experience of homelessness.

Rachel is passionate about reducing health inequalities for people experiencing homelessness and in 2017 was awarded a Winston Churchill Memorial Trust Fellowship to research homeless healthcare in Norway, Denmark and The USA. She is also a Trustee of Street Support Network.
