Brian Matthews

Brian has over 35 years’ experience of supported housing and homelessness, working for housing associations, in the voluntary sector and for local authorities. From 2003-2023, Brian worked for LB Camden, initially as Supporting People Lead Officer and ultimately as Head of Housing Commissioning and Partnerships. In these roles, Brian was closely involved in the piloting in 2010 of the first Housing First service in England and its subsequent development into one of the largest services in the country. Brian has been an Associate Consultant for Homeless Link since April 2023.
